Bio
Her name - synonymous with blonde, buxom and bubbly. Her
personality - unpredictably funny and sexy at the same time. And
did I mention brains? Rhonda is probably best known as the former
star of USA Network's long-running, popular Friday night series,
"USA: Up All Night". For more than eight years, the actress and
comedienne won over millions of fans performing comedy sketches
and bits during the show's bumpers (the time in between the movie
and the commercials). Rhonda also holds a degree in communications
and marketing from Loyola University. At the age of fourteen she
entered her first beauty pageant and went on to win over forty
major city and state-wide pageants, including the title of Miss
Louisiana, USA in 1978. She also was Miss Golden Globe in 1983.
She left her home town of New Orleans when she was summoned to
Hollywood for a Bob Hope television special. Then she began to
rack up a list of credits, including the films "Basic Training"
and Mel Brook's "Spaceballs" and the television shows "Cheers",
"Full House", "Happy Days", "Married with Children", "The Tonight
Show", "Silk Stockings" and "Happily Ever After". She has also
made many appearances on talk show such as "Entertainment
Tonight", "48 Hours", "Larry King Live", "Politically Incorrect" -
and two unusual appearences on "The U.S. Open" and "Wrestlemania
X".
Rhonda's stand-up television credits range from "Girl's Night
Out" on Lifetime to "Women Aloud" for Comedy Central. She has
performed her stand-up act at clubs around the U.S., including
Harrah's in Las Vegas. She also recorded the comedy album "Your
Bedtime Buddy".
One of Rhonda's favorite hobbies is doll collecting - her
collection includes rare Barbies, exquisite Madame Alexander
Collectibles and Mel Odem's glamorous Hollywood "Gene" dolls. This
passion has led to Rhonda being a contributing writer for 'Dolls
Magazine' and promoting doll collecting with appearances on the
"Home Shopping Network".
